Welcoming Hotel
I always stay at The Park Royal when I visit family in the area. The rooms are comfortable and have plenty of room. The staff are welcoming and friendly, especially Victoria on reception, who is cheerful and helpful. Breakfasts are delicious and there is plenty of choice.
Lovely 60th Birthday Treat
Arrived today for a spa day with a friend for her 60th birthday. After an eventful morning when our car broke down, which then made us late for our treatments. We were met at the spa by friendly and helpful Katherine and Amy, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were still able to go ahead with our treatments, and I have to say they were amazing. We both had the Elemis facial which was so relaxing and left our skin glowing. My therapist was Katherine who immediately put me at ease. My friend's therapist was Amy. My friend also had a frangipani leg treatment which she loved. Once we'd finished our treatments we had a light lunch of feta cheese wraps which were delicious. All in all we had a very enjoyable afternoon which we would highly recommend.
An excellent hotel for our needs.
As a spa hotel, with an excellent gym and swimming pool, this is excellent value for money. Our standard, double room was above average for a basic room. The bathroom was good. The buffet breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and efficient. I was able to charge my car overnight without the usual hassle. With family close by we shall book again.
Lovely room. Spa meh
Had a 1 night stay for my birthday recently. We upgraded to the tower suite. Room was lovely and clean. Was worried due to reviews of it being ran down but I didn't think this at all. The stairs and upstairs is a novelty and we didnt use it at all but it would be good if you had children to give them there own space. Bed very comfy. Big TV. Robes in bathroom. Hotel it's self was nice but spa let down. Wouldn't book this hotel for a spa break as the pool area is ran down and leisure centre vibes with ants all over and the steam room malfunctioned and went extremely hot. Nevertheless we booked for a good price and wouldn't pay full price. Dinner was nice and all staff we encountered were nice too. Good area. Breakfast also good selection. Overall if we didnt get the discount we did we wouldn't of stayed just purely because I like a nice spa so if I'm paying full id pay for a nice spa but can't grumble if your just wanting a night away from the kids.
One Night Stay, Perfect
We stayed at Park Royal for a night away break. Gorgeous hotel with excellent facilities. The reception staff were very accommodating as we arrived separately, they were understanding and helped me check in without any mither. The bar was very busy but again, staff were great, attentive and allowed us to take our glasses of ice up to the room. We were too late for room service but again it was no problem when we ordered food to be delivered instead. The room was beautiful, very spacious, huge TV, lovely bathroom with an amazing shower, well stocked with extra pillows, towels and bedding which was a bonus. We did have some trouble working the aircon but survived without it working fully in the end. Will definitely be back!
Good quality 4 star hotel
Stayed at Park Royal with my wife having stayed there some years ago while on a business trip. This is a top class 4 star hotel in Stretton just outside Warrington. Rooms good, food good, service good although I did have the unusual experience of being served in the bar by a really laid back gent who served me with one hand in his pocket while having a conversation with someone else at the bar. We definitely hope to use this hotel again in the future. My son uses it regularly while over (from N Ireland) in the area on business.
Good trip
Had a lovely stay, it was a Spa break, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms are bright and spacious, Spa facilities very good and the restaurant each evening was a good experience. All the staff without exception were so friendly and obliging, nothing was too much trouble, agreat welcome from Victoria on reception, who was very helpful.
Great weekend getaway break
Great weekend getaway break with brilliant hotel facilities. Room was nice, clean with ceiling fan to help keep cool. Hotel facilities such as the gym pool and sauna etc were excellent. Staff were all great. Shout out to Tom who fixed our tv issue quickly and then remembered us throughout the weekend whenever we were passing. Always pleasant and friendly. Great service. Dog friendly with a huge bar area where you can eat with your dog with you which is perfect for any dog owner. Lots of free parking and nice hotel grounds too. Would definitely stay here again.
Great stay
Super friendly staff. Good food but a bit expensive. 2 pubs nearby in walking distance as alternatives Great gym. Nice pool, can to loud when the children’s class are on. Tower suite is very nice with a 2nd floor accessed via a spiral staircase and has aircon which isn’t standard in the rooms.
Comfy overnight business trip
I stayed a night at the Park Royal Hotel for a work trip. The place is huge, with a well-kitted-out gym and swimming pool included in the booking. The room was large and comfortable. I also had dinner in the restaurant. The food was good, and catered well to my dietary restrictions. My server, Mason, was great. She was very attentive and professional.
Wedding weekend
Lovely weekend at the Park Royal hotel who hosted our friend's wedding, lovely staff and great food made for a great stay.
Great stay!
Really incredible room and delicious meal, with really friendly staff
Good relaxing weekend.
All staff very friendly and helpful. Nice room, nice restaurant. Good location. Near to Warrington - good museum and gallery. Many walks within a short drive eg Lymm Dam, canal side walk, etc
Great spa day out!
I have recently been with a friend for a spa day and we both thoroughly enjoyed our day. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist, Rebecca, who told us everything we needed to know. The spa facilities are great, decent sized pool and very clean. Our light lunch included with our spa day was plentiful - the halloumi wrap and fish finger wrap went down a treat! Another staff member, Rebecca, in the restaurant made sure we were well looked after. We will definitely be back!
Fabulous stay with friends
Hotel was wonderful. Stayed for one night for a friend's birthday. They put balloons and chocs in the room with a lovely hand written card for her. The spa was gorgeous and so was the treatment. To top it all off, the food in the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. The whole stay was perfect. Would definitely book again.

Park Royal Warrington - Family Stopover
Stayed at Park Royal Warrington on stopover back to Glasgow on return drive from Cornwall. Absolutely loved it. Gorgeous grounds, beautiful room and lovely facilities. Our children loved the pool which was the perfect temperature and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches such as water in the room, nespresso coffee maker and complimentary drinks in the minibar. The hotel was completely spotless and buffet breakfast delicious with lots of healthy and tasty options. Very close to Stockton on Heath which was a fantastic spot for dinner. Tennis courts plus outdoor grass area for children to burn off some energy. Plenty of EV charging at rear of hotel for those who need it including Tesla stations. All staff were delightful and kind. We would've happily stayed longer and felt so refreshed after our stay. Thank you Park Royal Warrington - we will definitely be back.
Definitely returning
We had a wonderful dining experience here, starting right from the seamless dinner reservation process. Everything was handled perfectly, but what truly made our evening unforgettable was the staff. A special mention must go to Lynsey, who was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she looked after us with genuine warmth, incredible attentiveness, and a brilliant professional attitude. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic evening, and her hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service from Lynsey was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back and highly recommend booking a table here!
Family break
We stayed for 3 nights for our daughters birthday. The hotel offers a birthday package. It was a lovely surprise for her to find helium balloons in the room when we arrived. The pool was great. Good swim times for children. You dont need locker coins. Towels provided. Good selection for breakfast. Air con doesn't work in all the rooms and it was hot. Good car park. Good location for chester zoo.
Great getaway experience.
Mason was helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done! 👏
